Journalism

As motoring enthusiasts of a certain age, our peer group grew up with our faces buried in any car magazine we could get our hands on, longing to get behind the wheel of whatever cars tickled our fancy. We would tear through those magazines over and over again. By the time the new issue arrived in the mailbox or on the newsstand, the current issue would be in tattered shambles, used up but still beloved and cherished.

Enthusiasts who have come up in the digital age have little concept of this. They can get their fix any time they want through the magic of the Internet. They don’t need to wait by a mailbox for a next issue. They don’t risk receiving a magazine covering a bunch of nothing they’re interested in.

But feeding that Instant gratification can be challenging. We know as much as the quality of writing varies in print media, the speeds of online publishing can mean quality suffers that much faster.

Hitchcock Motoring Media (HMM) takes pride in delivering quality content for both print and online media, and we have been delivering it for over 20 years. We have worked for both U.S. and international publications. While we know the difference between there, their, and they’re, we also know that colour and color are only determined by audience.

We are glad to pitch article ideas, source interesting cars, collections, and/or people on spec, or write about cars and people you’re already in touch with. Following are just some examples of the services we offer:

  • Feature Articles
  • Profiles and Interviews
  • Buyer’s Guides
  • Road Tests
  • Columns
  • Running Reports
  • Short-Takes
  • Blog Posts

We will gladly share examples of each on REQUEST.
